Urgh, was just playing SH3 and failed miserably. The task force sodded off with only one minor torp hit then a destroyer depth charged me back to hell.

Just been digging through the PC back catalogue and ended up playing C & C Zero Hour. Not too bad at all really but eesh what a hideous game engine.

Next up: BF1942...muhahahah

I'm watching Nemmie Jr play through Fire Emblem - he's on Chapter 15 which is good going.

A bit of Crackdown, which I probably won't buy even though I said I would.

Also installed Diablo2 and the new Universal version of Warcraft III.

My Wii crashed so I just lost the first 51 hours of Zelda and all my Wii Sports scores together with all the Mii's that I've created/sent.

Not relevant here I know.

Contact Nintendo, they can sometimes salvage the data. Or has it now reloaded with everything missing?

I'm back on AW:DS BTW. Think I'll try and finish my guide off. When I find it again.

Took it back to the shop and got a new one. I'll ring Ninty on Monday and they can laugh as I try to salvage the Wii Points I lost.

Fuck that. They're not open until Monday and I'm not send my console away to get fixed. I want a new one. I only bought the ting on the 18th. The Wii Points I can live without. I'm just gonna try my luck.

Not so much teary as having a slightly dodgy framerate in my case. Although I'm playing it mostly on the 360 as the disk seems to be a little dodgy and doesn't load most of the time on my Xbox >:(

Are the basic driving mechanics in Excite Truck as much fun as I've heard?

It's great fun excluding the trick system, which I'm finding hard to get the hang of.

You get a boost if you to angle the pad to match the slope of the ground on landing and pulling back, and pressing boost when you go over a jump gives you a boost in the air. It works really well, and adds another interesting element to the racing.

I'm really enjoying it when I play. It's pretty quick so I don't blink to much when racing, and only play it for quick bursts as it knackers out my eyes.

Aye it certainly goes at a fair ole lick dunnit.

I think the gorgeous sexy brunette showing me how to play it at the Wii event didn't actually tell me any of the useful stuff so I spent a lot of time in the air, then off the track.

I've ordered it simply because I'm such a Wii whore.

It's really good fun, and after Sports my second favourite Wii game (I don't have Zelda).

That game's amazing for a while, oh and make a habit of doing what seems like incidental rhythm bits as they culminate later in time to provide one with extra knowledge that makes things easier.

I'm still not 100% sure what to make of Farenheit, it was enjoyable at times but also incredibly frustrating and mastering the rhytm bits for me seemed to be to hammer the keys all the time until it timed it right. Which is fine to some degree but there wasn't exactly a lot of actual skill and gameplay involved. When I tried to be in time properly it never worked :-/

I'm on NwN2 most of the time at the moment and a bit of Ocriana of Time when I can't be bothered to play on my PC.

Today I'm going to be playing at getting my hair cut...

Good stuff - I have to say that I oddly preferred 4X4 Offroad than I did Exitetruck at the Wii event but I'm definitely looking forward to spending a bit more time on it. Goes like sheet off a shovel though.

Blitzing Bananas currently, and in breaks from that doing the best part of Wario Ware: replaying it for scores.

All on top of an underlying current of Burning Crusade.

RE: Fahrenheit

Well, thats that done, started it last night at about 10 and finished it just now. Probably about 8-9 hours worth of game?

I still dont know what to make of it to be honest. Some story elements they really nailed, and the usage of the 24-style pic-in-pic stuff was excellent throughout. But the plot? what the hell happened in the last few hours? It was fine until about halfway through then just went nuts.

The simon-says stuff got a bit annoying after a while as well, it just seemed to get in the way of the game rather than adding to it, and it draws your attention away from the action on screen, which is totally pointless.

I like the ambition of it though, I just hope that they reign the plot in for Heavy Rain, and add far fewer QT events.

hmmmm what next... continue Zelda? Or go back and do The Longest Journey or Fable?
