Been playing it rather heavily and it's longer than anticipated. The last couple of levels have been pretty tough, but it feels far more like the games of old (i.e. I'm finding it bloody hard in places).

But... no Michael Ironside? For shame.

And I'm still enjoying How to Survive. Explored a couple of islands and really liking the survival schtick more than the combat. Interesting companion piece to State of Decay.

Oh man, I'd love to do some of the SC co-op with you before Chrimbo if you have time and the desire to (especially but by no means restricted to those co-op only missions).

YES!!!

Excellent! I'm on my travels soon for a few days but let's sort it once I get back.

Started Twilight Princess yesterday. So far it feels like Ocarina of time 2 crossed with Okami. Which is good thing. :)

Also gave Zak and Wiki a shot, but I'm too impatient for that at the moment and the puzzles seemed very trial and error based. Does look very good though.

And I collected the first 4 stars in Mario Galaxy before giving up on that because it didn't really grab me. Does seem like a great game though.

Most of all I'm surprised at how good most Wii games actually look!

Finished The Walking Dead on my Budapest-Bucharest train. Great game and they did a nice job with the touchscreen capabilities. Finally delved a bit more into Killzone Mercenary on the way back and it clicked a lot more: looks gorgeous, some nice mechanics, but I'm not sure FPS or first person controls shine on the Vita to be honest.

Also tried out Proteus...er, what? I don't really get it.

Aside from Pocket Trains, I've been ploughing though CastleStorm this weekend (thanks to the code from Chris) and should have my review done later this week.

It's a mixture of RTS and tower defence (sort of), with some Angry Birds sprinkled on the top.

And it's way better than it sounds.

Good to hear :) I don't know if you're able to make stuff live yourself, but if not then give me a bell and I'll happily whack it up on the front page when it's ready, in lieu of anyone else being immediately available.

Would be nice to see a review of that, I haven't even got round to finishing the main game yet so it's well off the list of coverage for me.

Been playing around with Blocky Road on iOS, and I picked up Risk of Rain today too, but don't know if I'll have the time to cover it.

Has anyone played Long Live The Queen? I saw it on Steam yesterday and it seems to have had some positive feedback, but would like to hear some more impressions before taking the plunge, even if it is only £6 something.

Started Fez this morning (bought on the Humble Bundle a few months ago). Stunningly brilliant, if not a touch daunting when you first see the map :)

I'll be buying this Day one when it eventually arrives on the Vita.

Lots.

Just finished the CastleStorm DLC (review incoming), which leaves me with Lego LotR, Flower and EDF 2017 on the Vita.

I can't decide whether EDF is amazing or awful....

Also started Minerva's Den DLC for Bioshock 2. Only done about an hour, but it's great being back in Rapture.

PAPERS PLEASE

Advocates of that horrible gamification thing would love this game.

I just want to work faster, better, and more productively. I want the Inspector responsible for this district to be pleased with me, and maybe give me another certificate. I have allowed members of my family to die in order to keep working at my post and retain my small apartment. I am good citizen.

Terraria (Vita)

Perfect partnership between game and hardware. Plays flawlessly on the Vita.

Still getting to grips with the game itself, but loving it.

Terraria on Vita..uh-oh, the old obsession is back again. I drained the battery about three times in a row. Absolutely love it.

I did manage to pull myself away to spend time with my family....sorry, I mean finish Xcom Enemy Within. Once you get the strategy right, and get past a certain point, it becomes a lot easier (sectopods aside), though no less enjoyable. Fantastic game and one I'll certainly return to.

I've promised myself I'll clear my backlog before getting a PS4 so I'd better get down to GTA5, Splinter Cell and Diablo III.

Terraria, Terraria, Terraria.

Something I would never get to play on the PC or console, but as a handheld game I've been able to devote more than 12 hours to it since last Wednesday afternoon (a lot for me!)

The sense of discovery and exploration is brilliant and my looting/hording instinct from Fallout has really kicked in.

I'm so glad I switched from a Medium Map to the Small one - even that is HUGE, and I feel I've only scratched the surface.

My only concern is that I have other stuff to play, but can see me playing this for months!

I working towards better armour and Gold Pickaxe, so I can get stuck in to the Corruption.

Rymdkapsel on Vita at the moment. Simple, nicely executed little strategy title. If you didn't get the chance to nab it for free under PS + recently, just buy it anyway, it's dirt cheap and quite addictive.

Precisely why I'm avoiding it for now. Having only just finished Skyrim (which ate up about six months in all), I really need to play a few shorter games before I dive into another monster like Terraria.

I've just started with this (Thanks Mr O'Toole!) and it's the sort of game that I...er...end up shrugging off playing anything on the PS4 for. Very nicely done on the Vita! I've previously dabbled with a couple of the under-the-telly console versions but it just WORKS as a hand held game - aside from the hideous vita-claw it gives me from playing it for too bloody long!

Review coming up-a soon-a

Forza 5!

I promised myself I wouldn't on the basis that I suck terribly at these games and I've always found them a bit too clinical but I wanted a racer and NFS wasn't working for me.

I have to say, it's so very good. The cars feel great, the controls are all tailorable to help you adjust to the simulation and the drivatard stuff actually seems to work.

I'm not the sort of gamer that is going to be playing this until my eyes bleed so the microtransactions aren't actually something that I've even noticed yet either, so that's a result.

Colour me impressed.

More Terraria. Unfortunately my save corrupted after 20+ hours of progress, but I am so hooked on this game that I simply re-started, and already have Silver Armour. Loving it.

Now that I'm done with Rapture (Bioshock 2) and the Mojave Wasteland (Fallout New Vegas), I think I'll be heading back to Pandora (Borderlands 2)...

PvZ2 - loving it.
SotC - frustrating, but lovely.
Sokobond - finding it very tough now.
Etrian Odyssey IV - torn between spending a lot more time building new characters up, or just finishing the game on the current, maxed-out characters.
