The multiplayer stuff looks hella fun too.

A lot of stuff dragged in from their monster truck games by the look of it (which isn't necessarily a bad thing, always thought external environments would be great in a Trials game).

Just hoping more people get a handle on the editor this time round.

Aye, it was kind of tricky to get to grips with in Trials HD but there were some stunning custom tracks made by the community.

One thing to consider is that RedLynx have said that ALL the tracks in Evolution have been made using the X360 controller rather than with a keyboard/mouse combo so hopefully that points to the Editor being a bit more "user friendly".

I think the fact that In Evolution you can download custom made tracks from a central database (Track Central as it's being called) will extend the lief of Evolution considerably. Rating user created tracks to see who is the "cream of the crop" and download their tracks in a heartbeat sounds all sorts of ace :)

Suffice to say, my most anticipated game this year, far far ahead of Skyrim, BF3 etc :)

Yup it's a definite boon being able to grab anything from community-based tracks rather than just stuff your friends have produced. Hopefully it'll work a bit like LBP does, with a rating system and picks of the week.

Either way it sounds awesome and the gameplay trailer means there'll be 1200 points sitting in my account just waiting till this drops.

Bump time!

New UK dashboard video up today guys, it's tricky to find on the UK dashboard though so hope this helps:

http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-GB/Product/Trials-Evolution-gameplay-trailer/4eeed68f-a8b3-4fab-b008-abb00abf0b8a?noSplash=1

It looks frankly astonishing. The in-game editor tool shows them recreating (amongst other things) pinball, Crazy Birds and, believe it or not, a FPS!!

Scheduled for Spring 2012 release so is that 20th March - 19th June if I'm getting it right?

Anyhow, super excited, hope you guys enjoy what has just blown my little cotton socks off :)

edit: and youtube video now doing the rounds:

Shocking.

The harder they try to make the 360 usable, the less I use it.

The new dash is shit. Unless, of course, you're one of those weirdos who loves Kinect that much that they use it for everything

/hits 360 action button
/uses quick menus

The editor tool is already causing much excitement in internetland and I'm one of those freaks who spent far too much time in the HD editor tool building tracks and tinkering with the physics systems.

I doubt I'll be trying anything more advanced than actual tracks (as opposed to shooting games etc) but knowing that those possibilities are available I guess it's just a matter of understanding the building mechanics.

Sharing tracks globally in a hub for all to enjoy and rate is going to be immense. Cannot wait :)

Ahhh so you can share globally this time? That's going to be awesome.

Already got a few ideas up my sleeve for tracks - but seeing what some people did with Trials HD's editor makes me excited about playing other people's stuff, most definitely.
