Got another Q&A to submit for play.tm, this time for Fallout 3. If any of you folks have a question or two you would sell yer left arse cheek to get the answer to concerning this game, post it here and I will only take payment when the game is released :)

Oooer so many questions, so many questions

How about: At any time, did Bethesda consider going for a top down perspective approach rather than first person?

I'm trying to figure out how to properly word this question:

Will you once again be using the face generator which makes everyone look like a mongulard?

The population of Tamriel were never going to win any beauty contests, is a post-nuclear wasteland going to be any better?

My own questions when I've had a think...

When's the deadline for the questions?
I'm a massive Fallout fanboy but can't think of a single decent question.

So many questions yet all I can think of are those dumb ones:

Voice acting - will you use this time more actors than in Oblivion or will the world still be populated by 6 people? (reminds me of the "must've been a terrible cloning accident in the past" joke from FO2 regarding the use of roughly 10 character models...)

Real-time vs turn-base - how exactly will it work? Slowly replenishing Action Points, as used in Fallout Tactics?

Vehicles - will they be somehow implemented? Will you release a stupidly priced armour add-on for them later? ;-)

Dogmeat - will he return?

What have the done to "dumb down" the game for consoles compared to typical PC RPGs and previous Fallout games?

A strictly factual question they probably won't want to answer:

How will the stats influence the real-time (as opposed to the VATS) combat?

And a more general one:

As far as I am aware, unexpected behaviour from the radiant AI meant they had to massively cut it down in comparison to earlier preview - while there'll be less NPCs in total this time which means they'll flesh them out more, what makes them confident the same behaviour problems won't happen again?

God, I am shit at this. :-/

Is there going to be any significant difference between the console and PC versions?

Not that I know what platforms this is coming out for...

Have they learnt anything from other games such as STALKER?

How are they going to introduce the gameworld to a new audience? Is there going to be lots of narrative which will go over peoples heads?

(please ask this as I never played the first two as I'm not a big RPG fan, but this interests me).

Cheers for the questions chaps. I've included most of them and will post a link to the results when we get them. A few weeks later they will appear here on AATG.

Brilliant interview (and I don't just mean those questions that seemed vaguely familiar)! :-D

I have really high hopes for FO3 now. I'm certain Bethesda is quite aware that they might have a real hit on their hands. It's funny though, how the move to consoles helped the series gain finally broader attention; it's a pity it came about 10 years too late (same with System Shock - more recognition thanks to Bioshock).

That's interesting, didn't know that. Any links or articles to find out more?
