Heralding Solo: A Star Wars Story's release on to whatever home entertainment format you are into Zen Studios have released their latest three table digital package for all of us rebels to enjoy. It's available for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Steam and Windows 10. You'll also be able to pick up the tables individually if you are after them on mobile devices.

Solo is the first table up, and it follows the plot of the (actually quite decent, don't listen to the haters) film, so you can expect exciting heists, chases and your first meeting with your hairy chum, Chewbacca. It's a pretty fast table and a lot of fun to play, though strangely it has the worst music of the three new tables.

Calrissian Chronicles is a brilliant table, following a wide array of Lando's appearances across the whole of the Star Wars multi media empire (no pun intended), so you can find modes based upon his animated Star Wars: Rebels cameo appearance and even his 2015 comic book run. It's pretty great to see the correct Lando models swap in and out as you play, and the table is smaller and more brightly lit than the others, giving it a fast paced and more twitch orientated play style.

Which puts it in great contrast with the Battle of Mimban table, which finds you in the middle of some gritty trench warfare. This was actually my favourite of the new trio, with a couple of great multiball modes and a mini playfield which lets you decimate the baddies. It even lets you hijack an AT-DT which lets you polish off some modes with well placed balls.

If you are a fan of Star Wars, Pinball or just in the market for some good old fashioned score chasing you could do much worse than picking up this pack, and with Zen Studios recently picking up the rights to the real life Williams tables there's never been a better time to get into Pinball FX3.
