Kotaku is reporting that as of tomorrow you'll be able to browse all of your Playstation Trophies online at Playstation.com. In fact you can see this in action for yourself in the video below.

A further update to be released later in the later will allow you to compare and organise your trophies in new and exciting ways.

Is this all PS3 owners have too look forward when it comes to new and exciting updates?

What next? A patch that allows you to play games? Or an update that allows you to set up a profile?

Stop the presses!

Later!

Sposed to be a patch allowing you to view your trophies online. Is it just me or are trophies a lot less "essential" than achievements are?

They are both pointless if I you get them with no effort whatsoever (80% of all trophies). Until they make them more interesting or exchangeable for DLC I won't bother with them and to be honest I rather have some behind-the-scenes materials and the likes for achieving something then a number.

I like trophies. Gives you something to aim for that's consistent across all games (think of it less as distracting achievements and more like your progress across multiple games translated into one, comparable system). And of course I like the ability to compare with other people. Again, it helps that there's a single standard for it. Imagine if each game had a separate way of monitoring and comparing achievement.

Mostly you don't need to aim for them, because you'll get them automatically by just playing the game. :/

I love it. It's the rally game I've been waiting for since Rallisport Challenge 2 (and it's a lot more technical / satisfying than that!) ...
