News leaked last week that a not-so-secret alpha test was happening for Respawn Entertainment's hugely-anticipated sci-fi, multiplayer, mech-shooter Titanfall. And even though participants in the Alpha test signed an NDA and agreed not to broadcast any gameplay footage, they obviously had their fingers crossed behind theirs backs as countless videos have since appeared on YouTube, Vimeo and Daily Motion.

Part of me wants not to look for fear of spoiling key elements of the game, but with the release only a matter of weeks away, the excitement is mounting and well, curiosity got the better of me.

Respawn have responded to the leaked videos by claiming that the in-game textures are actually only 25% of the final quality, which given how crisp and sharp it actually already looks, is quite surprisingly.

Titanfall is due for release on 14th March and is exclusive to PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Colour me excited. Oh and sorry for the idiot talking over the video.

I don't see the appeal of this. Mind you I can't stand Call Of Duty so perhaps thats why.

It is definitely a very slick looking game but I'd be more than a little concerned that so close to release only 3 maps have been revealed. For a mulitplayer only game you'd be expecting it to ship with at least as many maps as COD Ghosts, if not more. Hopefully EA won't get too greedy with the DLC!

I love it. It's the rally game I've been waiting for since Rallisport Challenge 2 (and it's a lot more technical / satisfying than that!) ...
